Abbey Filko is a highly regarded marketing and tourism leader with over 15 years of experience driving results for businesses of all sizes. She’s led award-winning campaigns, spearheaded digital transformation projects, and experienced grant writer – always with a clear focus on strategic outcomes.
Before founding The Marketing Circle, Abbey served as Chief Marketing and Sales Officer at Airtrain, where she guided the company to achieve three Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards and the Global AirRail Alliance Marketing of the Year Award. Her leadership in this role included early adoption of AI and MarTech to enhance customer communication and campaign performance.
She currently serves as a Director on the Queensland Tourism Industry Council (QTIC) Board and as an advisory board member for the iMedia Future of Marketing Conference. Abbey is a regular speaker at universities and industry events, where she shares practical insights on marketing strategy, tourism development, grant writing, and technology adoption.
Her qualifications include an MBA, a Master of Management, and a Bachelor of Business from the University of the Sunshine Coast.
